With the start of a new cultural and artistic season, rich in social events, it’s the perfect time to plan ahead for concerts you simply shouldn’t miss!

 

For nearly a quarter of a century, Cantus Ensemble has played a key role in the promotion and performance of contemporary music in Croatia. It is one of the country’s most prominent musical ensembles, consistently contributing to the development of both the domestic and international music scene.

 

It is with great joy, therefore, that we announce the new concert season and invite you to the opening concert, where Cantus Ensemble will present five world premieres by Croatian composers!

 

Composers—mostly from the younger generation—Tibor Szirovicza, Juraj Marko Žerovnik, Sara Jakopović, Alan Kljajić, and David Batinić will guide us through a musical journey in the first concert titled Cantus Goes on a Journey, with guest soloist, pianist Viktor Čižić.
