For the concert in celebration of his 75th birthday, Mirko Krstičević chose instrumental compositions written over the past two decades.
Guitarist Srđan Bulat will perform a selection from Krstičević's cycle About the time He walked around for guitar and electronic tape, a recent work from 2022 (alongside Ana Uršula Najev as vocalist and Krstičević himself who will manage electronic effects and play keyboards).
Zoran Velić will present the compositions Fragment 205 and In the Heart of Narnia from Krstičević's oeuvre for piano (both from 2003).
Cantus Ensemble led by Berislav Šipuš will join the celebration of Krstičević’s birthday with performances of three of the author's compositions for the instrumental ensemble: Stipa Felix, Watch out for the Broom! and Whole lotta Zeppelin (all three from 2009, written for the ensemble’s project SPLITHESIS*).
