Cantus Ensemble’s first concert at MUZA’s Blagoje Bersa Concert Hall
As a result of the prolonged renovation of the Croatian Music Institute building, the Cantus Ensemble decided to relocate its concert series to the Blagoje Bersa Concert Hall of the Music Academy of the University of Zagreb. There are still four outstanding concerts until the end of the 2021/2022 season. The first will take place on Monday 15 November, from 7.30 pm, and the program includes compositions from the Second Viennese School and the premiere of the new piece 'Yena by composer Ivan Violić. The mezzo-soprano Martina Gojčeta Silić, permanent associate of the Ensemble, will perform alongside the Ensemble’s pianist Srebrenka Poljak in the interpretation of five songs from the cycle The Book of the Hanging Gardens Op. 15 by Arnold Schönberg.
