Every year since its founding in 1995, the Days of Milko Kelemen brings together prominent Croatian and internationally renowned artists, in large part thanks to the international reputation of the doyen of Croatian music, Milko Kelemen, to whom the festival in Slatina is dedicated.
On 30 March, the Heritage Museum in Slatina hosted the first public presentation of the program of the 25th Days of Milko Kelemen International Music Festival. The program was presented by the Festival Committee members, led by its president Antonia Brzica. The grand opening of the festival will be held on Thursday, 10 October, at the movie theater of the Open University of Slatina, starting at 8 pm, with the Cantus Ensemble and its guests performing. In addition to a young cellist Tonka Javorović, who is building an international career after completing her studies in Zagreb, the Ensemble will perform Kelemen’s Concertino for cello and string orchestra.
