CANTUS ENSEMBLE & CROATIAN MUSIC YOUTH CULTURE PASS
Concert and theater audiences in Croatia and across the world keep getting smaller and smaller. The fact that our audiences consist mostly of older citizens while younger people barely participate in cultural events proves that the situation is alarming. Current audiences are disappearing, and new ones are not being established.
LEGENDARY MUSIC MONDAYS OPENS NEW VISTAS
Thanks to the Music Biennale Zagreb, our city is widely regarded as one of the more important European centers of contemporary music. It is precisely the effort of Cantus Ensemble, founded and led by artistic director Berislav Šipuš and initially assembled for the purposes of the Biennale, that guarantees a continuous presence of contemporary music in Zagreb and in Croatia.
41st BELGRADE MUSIC FESTIVAL
On 13 October 2009 Cantus Ensemble gave a guest performance at the 41st Belgrade Music Festival, better known as BEMUS.
CANTUS ENSEMBLE & RE:NEW MUSIC
RE:NEW MUSIC (http://www.renewmusic.org/) is a cultural project based on 12 international partners and 22 ensembles from 11 European countries, creating a platform for over 170 performances per year as well as numerous composer workshops and residences.
