Mislav Pavlin, violin

Mislav Pavlin is a violin graduate of the Zagreb Academy of Music, where he studied with Kristijan Petrović. During his musical training he took part in many violin seminars, among which are those of prof. Yfrah Neaman and Igor Ozim and chamber music festivals of Yehudi Menuhin Foundation. He was awarded considerable number of national and international awards at violin and chamber music competitions. Mislav Pavlin was a member of Croatian Chamber Orchestra, Croatian Radio and Television Simphony Orchestra, Zagreb Philharmonic. From 1999 until 2000 he was active in Sebastian string quartet, with whom he held series of  remarkable performances in Croatia and abroad, made several recordings for the Croatian Radio and recorded  a compact disc which was awarded discography award Porin in 2003. He also collaborates with Croatian Baroque Ensemble, where he cherishes baroque style of playing the violin, and also with Cantus Ensemble. In 1997 he entered the audition for the renowned Zagreb Soloists with whom he is presently active as an independent artist. As a member of the Zagreb Soloists he has aquired full artistic affirmation collaborating with many prominent artists such as Mario Brunello, Victor Tretjakov, Stefan Milenkovich, Leo Nucci, Radovan Vlatković, Milan Turković, Dubravka Tomšić, Dunja Vejzović, Ilya Gringolts, Erich Hobarth, Peter Shepard and many more. With the same ensemble he has performed widely around the world and recorded a dozen records, some of which were awarded discography award Porin.
