Ensemble Cantus at Festival Trieste

Friday 2nd December, our Cantus troupe will be travelling to Italy, to perform Sydereus by the Italian composer Luigi Sammarchi at the festival in Triest. Apart from this world premiere, the performance of three chamber opus by the recently passed Giampaolo Coral will honour this Italian composer, who was a dear friend of the Music Biennale Zagreb and Cantus Ensemble, often to be seen at the festival. Pianist Srebrenka Poljak and cellist Jasen Chelfi will perform the Sonata by Bogdan Gagić (2009) and the ensemble will present its lavish colours in their entirety in Tan Hetti, a well mastered show piece of the ensemble, composed by their very own artistic director and conductor Berislav Šipuš.
