8th International Young Musicians' Competition Ferdo Livadić in Samobor is open for applications

Until 5th June the Competition Ferdo Livadić is open for applications from young musicians. The Competition will be held at the 36th Samobor Musical Autumn festival, which will take place from 25th till 28th September 2011.Elegible for the competition are young musicians below 26 years of age and the prize fund is 25.000 kuna.In addition to the monetary prize, the winner of the Ferdo Livadić prize will receive the new composition for a solo instrument and a chamber ensemble by Mladen Tarbuk and a concert with Cantus Ansambl in the „Cantus Ansambl & Lisinski“ cycle at the Vatroslav Lisinski small concert hall.

The premiere of the new piece will take place in October 2012, at the 37th Samobor Musical Autumn festival.
